Description For Construction LLE Procurement Manager - EMEA

Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO+I) is seeking a Construction LLE Procurement Manager to join their EMEA team. This role is crucial in supporting the delivery of Microsoft's expanding cloud infrastructure through strategic supply chain management. The position involves managing complex, multi-billion dollar datacenter construction projects and their operational assets.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in construction management, procurement, and supply chain operations, with specific expertise in hyperscale data center or large building construction. They will be responsible for managing post-award site delivery scheduling, change order management, and technical risk management while serving as a key liaison between suppliers, engineering teams, and various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include overseeing MEP/OFCI equipment delivery and inspections, coordinating project design information and technical submittals, and driving strategy development for supplier selection. The role requires strong technical abilities in contract writing and sourcing plans, excellent communication skills, and familiarity with process improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities For Construction LLE Procurement Manager - EMEA

  • Manage post-award site delivery scheduling and performance reporting
  • Lead change order management after CDEs & Tech Submittals
  • Oversee site specific LLE performance and resolve issues
  • Manage technical risk management of design including timelines
  • Act as liaison between supplier, engineering teams, and stakeholders
  • Coordinate project design information and technical submittals
  • Manage MEP/OFCI equipment delivery and inspections
  • Drive strategy development and supplier selection

Requirements For Construction LLE Procurement Manager - EMEA

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Extensive Experience in Project Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, and/or Operations
  • Hyperscale data center or large building construction experience
  • Knowledge of data center industry and project delivery methods
  • Technical ability to write contracts and set up sourcing plans
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six-Sigma)
  • Ability to implement new processes and get cross-functional buy-in
