This role is crucial in delivering core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. The position involves managing a team responsible for operating and maintaining critical environment-related facility equipment in data centers. Key responsibilities include people management, equipment and systems operations, maintenance, and fostering a culture of safety and security. The ideal candidate should have experience in mission-critical services, people management skills, and technical expertise in areas such as electrical, mechanical, or controls systems. This role requires working 12-hour shifts during non-standard business hours (7pm - 7am) and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
