Description For Data Engineer – Construction Quality

Our focus is on smart growth, high efficiency, and delivering trusted experiences to customers and partners worldwide.

Our datacenter delivery team is looking for a data professional to bring their skills to the construction quality space. Our team maintains and governs processes, delivers data, metrics, and analytics, and provides process automation to improve our predictability and quality in our datacenters. The Data Engineer - Construction Quality will be part of the global team and lead the data and metrics program to provide analytics and insights, automation, and drive platform maturity to our tooling, applications, and suite of visualization and reporting products.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Applying customer and stakeholder-oriented focus
  • Orchestrating collaboration across teams
  • Sharing insights and analytical expertise through various means
  • Applying in-depth knowledge of the business and its data landscape
  • Identifying and promoting efficient methods for analytics and reporting
  • Building and supporting formal experiments or prototypes
  • Applying expertise in data analysis techniques
  • Maintaining expertise in data privacy and governance
  • Evaluating and determining ideal analytical techniques
  • Understanding the relationship between analytical models and business objectives

The ideal candidate will have strong skills in data analysis, visualization (especially Power BI), programming (Python, R, or SQL), and experience with quality control or quality assurance. They should also be familiar with compliance standards, statistical analysis for quality control, and have excellent communication skills.

Requirements For Data Engineer – Construction Quality

Python
  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field AND 4+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis
  • 2+ years' experience in visualization and reporting: experience with Power BI for generating dashboards that track metrics, trends, and performance
  • 2+ years' experience using data for problem solving and to drive process improvements and eliminate inefficiencies
  • Proficiency in Programming Languages: Technical proficiency with Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation and analysis
  • Experience with compliance and regulatory standards
  • Statistical analysis skills for quality control
  • Database management skills
  • Strong communication skills
