Data Solution Engineer

Microsoft is seeking a Data Solution Engineer to join their team in Taipei, focusing on driving technical sales and implementation of their cloud database and analytics solutions. This role combines deep technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, requiring both strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills.

The position involves working with Microsoft's cutting-edge data technologies, including Azure Databases, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, and Purview Data Governance. You'll be responsible for leading technical engagements, conducting demos and proofs of concept, and helping customers modernize their data platforms. The role requires expertise in both cloud and on-premises solutions, with a focus on data warehouse migration and analytics implementation.

As a Data Solution Engineer, you'll collaborate with platform leads to design secure, scalable architectures, resolve technical challenges, and provide thought leadership in the cloud database and analytics community. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of technical pre-sales or consulting experience, with deep knowledge of Microsoft's data platform solutions and competitor offerings.
