Member of Technical Staff, AI Platform Engineer

Microsoft AI is seeking a passionate AI Platform Engineer to join their AI Product Acceleration team in Mountain View. This role is crucial in building systems that push the boundaries of artificial intelligence across agents, applications, services, and infrastructure. The position focuses on enabling rapid development and deployment of AI across Microsoft's products, working closely with top AI engineers worldwide at the bleeding edge of engineering and AI research.

As an AI Platform Engineer, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining platform-level software solutions that form the backbone of Microsoft's AI products. You'll work on APIs, data flows, systems, and services, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities across various products. The role requires expertise in Python and other major programming languages, with a strong background in building and releasing production software at the platform level.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $137,600 - $294,000 (Bay Area range) and comes with comprehensive benefits including healthcare, educational resources, and parental leave. This is an in-office role requiring 3 days per week in the Mountain View office.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of technical engineering experience, strong knowledge of platform-level software development, and a passion for AI technology.
