Microsoft is seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join their AI team as they push the boundaries of artificial intelligence. This role focuses on building insights into Microsoft's AI products through inference infrastructure development. The position combines high-performance computing, distributed machine learning, and cloud infrastructure expertise.

The role involves creating sophisticated machine learning pipelines, working with large-scale data processing, and staying current with the latest LLM capabilities. You'll be responsible for developing robust client libraries for large-scale inference and partnering with various teams to drive technical strategy and best practices.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Python, SQL, and machine learning technologies, with preferred experience in Azure ML, LLMs, and data science libraries.   • Creates pipelines for machine learning, inclusive of data preparation, inference, and integration with downstream systems

Requirements For Member of Technical Staff – Machine Learning Engineer

Python
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 6 years technical engineering experience with coding
  • Experience with Python, SQL, and/or Spark
  • Experience with Azure Machine Learning or similar systems preferred
  • Experience with Python package development preferred
  • Experience with LLMs and prompt engineering preferred
  • Experience with ML and data science libraries preferred
