The position is based in either Mountain View, CA, or Redmond, WA, requiring 3 days per week in-office presence. As a Member of Technical Staff, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end tools that streamline data collection and facilitate model evaluation across AI projects. The role demands expertise in JavaScript and its ecosystem, with React JS being a crucial requirement and Next JS experience being advantageous.
Working in a small, fast-paced team, you'll collaborate closely with AI researchers, product managers, and engineers to define requirements and deliver high-impact solutions. Your responsibilities will include building and optimizing data pipelines for processing large volumes of AI training data, as well as developing robust and scalable features for internal tools.
The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of technical engineering experience, with a strong background in web-based tool development. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required, along with demonstrated understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles. Familiarity with data science and machine learning concepts is highly valued.

The base salary range is $119,800 - $234,700 USD across most U.S. locations, with higher ranges of $158,400 - $258,000 USD for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
