ROP - Cloud Network Engineer

We are looking for a passionate, high-energy individual to help build the network that powers the world's largest online services. The ideal candidate should be familiar with network protocols, network devices including network interface cards, switches, and routers. You should feel comfortable working with large-scale distributed systems, managing the network infrastructure that supports the Azure Cloud infrastructure, and designing and building large-scale distributed systems that manage the network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply network technology knowledge to contribute to network design, implementation, and operation
• Translate high-level designs for datacenters into low-level designs
• Triage, troubleshoot, and repair live site issues
• Collaborate with teams across the organization to support network deployments
• Analyze capacity issues and identify network components for modification

This position requires 8+ years of experience in networking protocols, strong computer science fundamentals, and expertise in distributed systems. The role involves up to 50% work from home with 0-25% travel requirements.
