Description For Senior Customer Experience Engineer

Microsoft's Azure Customer Experience (CXP) team is seeking a Senior Customer Experience Engineer to join their ACES Strategic team (Advanced Cloud Engineering & Supportability). This role focuses on supporting strategic Azure customers through incident management, problem resolution, and technical support.

As a Customer Experience Engineer, you'll be the primary engineering contact for customer support on Azure, working closely with Customer Success Account Managers, Cloud Solution Architects, and Technical Support Engineers. The position involves handling critical incidents, providing technical guidance, and being the voice of the customer within Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track and resolve customer incidents
  • Engage with strategic customers to understand and troubleshoot issues
  • Develop insights and best practices
  • Conduct root cause analysis
  • Partner with product teams to improve customer experience
  • Handle complex technical escalations

Required Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of IaaS: Compute, Storage, Networking
  • Familiarity with Azure PaaS Services
  • Experience with monitoring technologies
  • Automation language proficiency (PowerShell, Python, C#)

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for customer service. This role requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience, and proven experience in the software industry.
