Microsoft is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join their Artificial Intelligence System on Chip (AISoC) Silicon team. This role is part of Microsoft's Silicon team, which builds custom silicon for a diverse set of systems ranging from innovative consumer products like Xbox to high-performance Azure cloud servers, clients, and augmented reality.
The ideal candidate should be a self-starter who thrives in a cutting-edge technical environment. They will be part of the design team driving many facets of high performance, high bandwidth designs. Tasks include working on Intellectual Property (IP) microarchitecture specification, Register Transfer Level (RTL) design, synthesis, and System on Chip (SOC) integration on different subsystems.

Required qualifications include 7+ years of related technical engineering experience or equivalent education and experience in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science. Microsoft offers a competitive salary range of $117,200 - $229,200 per year, with higher ranges for specific locations like the San Francisco Bay area and New York City.
