Description For Senior Product Manager - Cloud Security

Microsoft is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Cloud Security to join their Threat Protection team. This role focuses on Microsoft Defender for Cloud, a comprehensive cloud-native application protection platform (CNAPP). The ideal candidate will have experience in cloud security and act as a deep subject matter expert, working alongside the field to drive sales and adoption of the solution.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Influencing and engaging with cross-functional partners and stakeholders
  • Defining and influencing long-term vision and strategy for multiple feature areas
  • Driving business impact and tracking success metrics
  • Addressing the competitive landscape and customer perception of Microsoft Defender for Cloud
  • Providing guidance to the field through collateral, webinars, and other forums
  • Building relationships with engineering teams and driving product improvements

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud security offerings
  • Technical sales background or experience in field/customer-facing roles
  • Fluency in English
