As a Service Engineer II, you will be part of an expert technical team delivering complex data analysis to provide advanced fraud, malware, and other security solutions for the Microsoft online Advertising marketplace. You will focus on protecting advertiser ROI and user safety across Microsoft Advertising and identify suspicious or fraudulent traffic and advertising practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform deep technical investigations to solve complex performance issues
  • Raise trends and threat vector opportunities for platform improvements
  • Protect users, partners and customers through industry awareness and risk analysis
  • Compose service alerts and issue visibility correspondence
  • Ensure policy interpretation and enforcement at scale
  • Conduct escalation data and trend analysis

The role offers competitive compensation with a base pay range of $100,600 - $199,000 per year (higher in SF Bay Area and NYC: $131,400 - $215,400). Microsoft provides industry-leading healthcare, educational resources, savings and investments, parental leave, and generous time away.

Requirements For Service Engineer II

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 2+ years technical experience
  • 2+ years experience with customer facing tier 3 technical support or software development
  • 2+ years experience developing tools and automation in C# to improve operational efficiency
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud background check
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
