Responsibilities For Simulation Engineer
- Develop and maintain datacenter models and simulations to analyze and optimize datacenter operations
- Apply advanced statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in datacenter performance
- Collaborate with operations, design, and automation teams to implement data-driven improvements
- Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and verification of simulation models
- Integrate real-world data sources into simulation models for enhanced accuracy and realism
- Analyze simulation output data to extract meaningful insights and recommendations
- Perform scenario analysis and optimization studies using simulation models
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of simulation models, methodologies, and results
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation for internal stakeholders and clients
Requirements For Simulation Engineer
- Doctorate in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field OR Master's Degree with 1+ year(s) data-science experience OR Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years data-science experience
- 1+ years' experience calibrating simulation models with real data
- Strong background in advanced modeling and statistics for large-scale projects
- Proficiency using linear models, Monte Carlo simulations, or discrete event simulations
- Experience with datacenter design tools, automation technologies, and performance analysis tools
- Familiarity with hierarchical models, knowledge graphs, Digital Twins, or IoT implementations
- Prior experience with reliability engineering or advanced time series analytics (preferred)
