Site Reliability Engineer II - CTJ - Top Secret

Microsoft is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer II to join their Office 365 Enterprise Cloud team, focusing on government cloud service offerings. This role sits at the intersection of software development and operations, working with Microsoft's most critical government customers.

The position requires expertise in distributed systems and cloud technologies, with a focus on maintaining and improving high-scale services. You'll be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of Office 365 government cloud services, working with some of Microsoft's largest enterprise and government customers.

As an SRE II, you'll design and implement software improvements, collaborate with engineering teams, and ensure services meet the highest standards of stability and performance. The role involves developing automation, monitoring solutions, and participating in on-call rotations to maintain service reliability.

• Developing and maintaining telemetry pipelines and monitoring tools

• Participating in code reviews and system design
• Troubleshooting complex distributed systems
• Implementing capacity planning and resource optimization
• Responding to and resolving production incidents
