Description For Software Engineer II

Microsoft is seeking a Software Engineer II to join their Dynamics 365 Finance team in Fargo, North Dakota. This role is part of one of the fastest-growing applications in the Dynamics portfolio, which is the fastest-growing SaaS Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) portfolio in the world.

As a Software Engineer II, you will:

  • Develop features with a focus on quality, usability, and performance
  • Participate in livesite operations with an emphasis on timely response, delivery, and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Collaborate across internal and external stakeholders, including mentoring others
  • Work on building cloud-based SaaS applications
  • Utilize your skills in C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or other ERP/CRM software (preferred)
  • Knowledge of microservices principles

This position offers a hybrid work environment with up to 50% work from home options. The role requires physical presence within the region surrounding the Microsoft campus in Fargo.
