The role combines networking expertise with cloud platform development, working on projects like Azure NetApp Files, Azure VMWare Service, and Cray Supercomputer integration.

As a Software Engineer in this team, you'll be responsible for developing and improving CI/CD pipelines, implementing infrastructure-as-code, and managing automated deployment processes. The position requires strong expertise in networking fundamentals, with hands-on experience in Azure networking services and SDN appliance hardware. You'll be part of an on-call rotation, handling production incidents and implementing improvements based on root cause analysis.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
  • Monitoring system performance and reliability
  • Implementing best practices for observability and resilience
  • Performing hardware maintenance and system recovery tasks
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams on operational improvements

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software engineering with experience in languages like C++, Java, or Python, combined with practical knowledge of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering principles. This role offers excellent growth opportunities in cloud infrastructure and networking at scale.
