As a Compliance Technical Specialist, you'll work alongside sales, technical, partner and consulting resources to demonstrate the value of Microsoft's data security solutions. Your primary objective will be to win technical decisions for Microsoft data security solution purchases. The role offers an opportunity to strengthen both technical expertise and consultative selling skills across Microsoft and non-Microsoft cloud native data security solutions.
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of technical pre-sales experience with a strong background in data security architectures and solutions. You'll need deep understanding of industry security standards/regulations like HIPPA, PCI, GDPR, and frameworks like Information Governance Reference Model (IGRM). Experience with Microsoft Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, and Insider Risk Management is crucial.
Key responsibilities include being the primary technical point of contact during sales processes, leading technical presentations and demonstrations, developing security posture improvement strategies, and overseeing proof of concepts. You'll work in a hybrid environment with up to 50% work from home flexibility and some travel (0-25%).
