Description For Technical Support Engineer- Azure IaaS

Microsoft's Customer Experience & Success (CE&S) organization is seeking a Technical Support Engineer for their Customer Service & Support (CSS) team, specifically in the Applications & Infrastructure group. This role involves owning, troubleshooting, and solving customer technical issues related to Azure IaaS. The position offers flexibility with up to 100% work from home option.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, investigate, and solve customer technical issues
  • Collaborate within and across teams
  • Participate in peer communities
  • Develop technical and professional proficiency
  • Identify potential product defects and provide feedback

Required Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Architecture and IaaS deployments
  • Understanding of OS Internals, Active Directory, and Security (Windows and/or Linux)
  • Experience with virtualization concepts and virtual system administration
  • Familiarity with SAN, NAS, Hyper-V, VMWare, iSCSI environments
  • Networking knowledge including TCP, IP, NAT, DNS
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and English languages

  • 5+ years technical support, technical consulting, or IT experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
