Microsoft is seeking a Technical Support Engineer for the Azure Identity team in Japan. This role involves supporting Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) and related authentication systems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Microsoft technologies and customer service, with strong communication skills and technical expertise.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing support to Enterprise customers and partners via phone and web
- Investigating and resolving complex technical issues
- Collaborating with global teams and escalating issues when necessary
- Ensuring high customer satisfaction and meeting Service Level Agreements
- Documenting technical work and research comprehensively
- Maintaining a proactive approach to customer happiness
Required skills:
- Minimum 3 years of IT experience
- Strong customer service skills in high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Deep technical expertise in at least one specialty
- Logical and critical thinking skills
Preferred skills:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Servers and Client Operating Systems
- Understanding of Microsoft Cloud (Azure/Office 365) and Windows Server products
- Familiarity with OAuth, OpenID Connect, WS-Federation, and SAML
- Troubleshooting skills in network, DNS, AD FS, and Microsoft Synchronization Engines
Language requirements:
- Fluent Business Level Japanese for customer communication and documentation
- Business Level English for global collaboration and technical documentation
