Millennium is seeking a Quantitative Developer for their Systematic Equities team to focus on developing and optimizing infrastructure for quantitative trading models. The role combines software engineering and quantitative finance, requiring expertise in Python, data science tools, and algorithmic trading. Working directly with quantitative researchers and senior portfolio managers, you'll build data pipelines, implement large-scale computational systems, and develop prediction tools for systematic equity trading. Responsibilities For Quantitative Developer, Systematic Equities

  • Partner with Portfolio Manager to develop data engineering and prediction tools for systematic equity trading
  • Design, code, and maintain tools for systematic trading infrastructure
  • Build and maintain robust data pipelines and databases
  • Develop data validation processes
  • Implement and operate large scale computation systems
  • Monitor and pro-actively detect potential problems
  • Collaborate with PM and trading group in the investment process

Requirements For Quantitative Developer, Systematic Equities

Python
  • Expert in Python and/or KDB/Q
  • Proficient in modern data science tools (Jupyter, pandas, numpy, sklearn)
  • Machine learning experience
  • Understanding of Slurm or similar parallel computing tools
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related STEM field
  • Proficient in quantitative analysis, mathematical modelling, statistics
  • Experience with professional software development methodologies
  • 2+ years of experience in algorithmic trading systems development
  • Experience working with vendor data sets
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
