Responsibilities For Lead Software Engineer (OpenEdge) - Remote

Design, implement, and thoroughly test solutions
Ensure solutions meet customer requirements and organizational goals
Lead a team of engineers to support business needs
Determine testing requirements with Engineering Lead
Facilitate cross-functional meetings
Provide maintenance and support for systems and platforms
Triage bugs and develop solutions
Investigate new technologies and best practices
Execute departmental OKRs and initiatives
Provide technical leadership to approximately five software engineers
Mentor and coach software engineers
Provide regular feedback through structured coaching

Requirements For Lead Software Engineer (OpenEdge) - Remote

JavaScript

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
5-10+ years of software development experience in Progress OpenEdge V11/12
Experience with cloud providers (AWS)
Experience building Web Applications using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
Extensive knowledge of OE database design and optimization
Knowledge of SQL or Oracle
Knowledge of C and/or C++ (preferred)
