Full Stack Engineer II

Mollie, a leading European fintech company, is seeking a Full Stack Engineer II to join their Payment Foundations team in Lisbon. With a 20-year history and serving over 250,000 businesses across Europe, Mollie has grown to a team of 850 specialists. The role is part of a crucial team focused on making payment processing services scalable, manageable, and fault-tolerant.

The position offers a unique opportunity to work in a diverse, English-speaking environment with 50+ engineers from 8 different nationalities in their Lisbon hub. The successful candidate will join a team consisting of an Engineering Manager, a product manager, and 3 other engineers working across Amsterdam and Lisbon locations.

As a Full Stack Engineer II, you'll be responsible for building large-scale systems, developing APIs and services, and leading technical initiatives. The role requires strong expertise in both frontend and backend technologies, with a particular emphasis on UI development. You'll work with modern technologies including React-Redux, TypeScript, PHP-Symfony, and MySQL, while handling deployment through Terraform on GCP.
