Description For Graduate Engineer - Data

Mollie, a leading European fintech company, is offering an exciting opportunity for graduates through their Engineering Graduate Program in the Data domain. This 15-month program, starting in September 2025, consists of two rotations - a nine-month and a six-month rotation within the Data domain.

The company has an impressive track record of serving over 250,000 businesses across Europe with their all-in-one payment and money management solutions. With a team of 850 specialists spread across Europe, from Lisbon to London, Mollie has been revolutionizing the financial technology sector for the past 20 years.

The Data domain at Mollie focuses on making data accessible and available, supporting all teams in generating valuable insights. As a Graduate Engineer in the Data team, you'll work on crucial projects involving data analysis, modeling, and reporting. You'll use modern tools like dbt, BigQuery, and Looker to create impactful business intelligence solutions.

This role is perfect for recent graduates with a strong quantitative background who are passionate about data analytics and want to make a real impact in the fintech industry. You'll have the opportunity to work with experienced professionals, learn industry-standard tools and practices, and contribute to meaningful projects that drive business decisions.

The position offers hands-on experience in a dynamic fintech environment, working with a collaborative team in Mollie's Lisbon office. While technical skills are important, the role also emphasizes the ability to communicate data insights effectively and translate them into business value.

Note that while this is an entry-level position, Mollie is looking for candidates who can demonstrate strong analytical thinking, collaboration skills, and a genuine interest in data analytics. The program is structured to provide comprehensive learning and development opportunities, making it an ideal starting point for a career in data engineering and analytics.
