Description For Water Softener Service Engineer

Monarch Water, the UK's market leader in water softener distribution with over 50 years of experience, is seeking a dedicated Water Softener Service Engineer to join their growing team. This role involves servicing and maintaining water softeners in both residential and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair various water softeners and related products at customer locations
  • Deliver high levels of customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Manage inventory of parts and maintain adequate stock levels
  • Achieve high first-time fix rates through effective troubleshooting
  • Manage daily schedule and workload independently
  • Complete service reports and documentation accurately
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Maintain company vehicle and adhere to company policies
  • Collaborate effectively with team members while working independently

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in a service engineering role, particularly with water softeners or similar appliances
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong fault-finding capabilities for both mechanical and electrical issues
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new products and technologies
  • Organizational skills and effective time management
