Monarch Water, the UK's market leader in water softener distribution with over 50 years of experience, is seeking a dedicated Water Softener Service Engineer to join their growing team. This role involves servicing and maintaining water softeners in both residential and commercial settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair various water softeners and related products at customer locations
- Deliver high levels of customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Manage inventory of parts and maintain adequate stock levels
- Achieve high first-time fix rates through effective troubleshooting
- Manage daily schedule and workload independently
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Maintain company vehicle and adhere to company policies
- Collaborate effectively with team members while working independently
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in a service engineering role, particularly with water softeners or similar appliances
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong fault-finding capabilities for both mechanical and electrical issues
- Ability to learn and adapt to new products and technologies
- Organizational skills and effective time management
