Platform Engineer with Security Focus

As a Platform Engineer with a security focus, you'll be at the forefront of building and maintaining the Mondoo Platform, including critical components like the policy engine, resources, scale, and multi-region functionality.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and gain hands-on experience with "policy as code" frameworks. You'll be responsible for building and managing cloud infrastructure using IaC tools, automating system configurations, and ensuring seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines. Your work will directly impact teams' ability to assess, scope, prioritize, triage, and remediate security findings.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, configuration management tools, and cloud platforms. You'll need proficiency in container technologies, scripting languages, and networking basics. While security expertise is valuable, we're also looking for candidates willing to grow their security knowledge and contribute to our dynamic team.

This position offers the chance to work with modern security tools and frameworks, including policy as code implementations like Open Policy Agent and HashiCorp Sentinel.
