Cloud Operations Engineer

MongoDB is seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to join their team in London. This role is crucial in ensuring the operational success of MongoDB Atlas, the company's premier multi-cloud database-as-a-service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, participating in technical discussions, mentoring team members, and handling critical cases.

This hybrid position requires 3 days a week in the London office and focuses on supporting MongoDB Atlas customers within the financial services sector. Key responsibilities include effective communication with stakeholders, developing an understanding of FSI customer's technologies and regulations, collaborating across teams, participating in on-call rotations, and contributing to knowledge sharing.

The ideal candidate should have strong systems engineering experience, proficiency in issue analysis, experience with major cloud providers, and knowledge of database operations. They should also possess excellent communication skills and be willing to travel to customer sites when needed.
