Moog is seeking an Electronic Design Engineer to join their team in Carrigaline, Ireland. Responsibilities For Engineer, Electronic Design
- Design & development of hardware (analog, digital and power electronics) for servo-drive products
- Ensure products meet performance specifications, cost & reliability targets
- Ensure compliance with required regulatory standards
- Participate in all aspects of hardware lifecycle including requirements definition, architectural design, implementation, integration and testing
- Participate in design reviews and business reviews
- Work towards achieving defined project goals/milestones within tight project schedules
- Provide on-site customer support when required
Requirements For Engineer, Electronic Design
- Minimum 2nd Class (Hons) degree in electronics/electrical engineering
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Problem identification, analysis and problem solving abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with senior customers, management and team members
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of power conversion principles and technologies (advantageous)
- Experience with VHDL language (advantageous)
- Knowledge of electronic devices and FPGA communication (advantageous)
