The position focuses on developing sophisticated software solutions for Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) Reporting, requiring expertise in both technical implementation and financial domain knowledge. The role combines hands-on development using technologies like Python, Java, and SQL, with strategic planning and client interaction.

As a Vice President, you'll be responsible for creating a formula software engine, conducting analysis of financial models, and implementing solutions that meet regulatory reporting requirements. The position requires strong technical skills including experience with OLAP databases, particularly Cognos TM1, and modern development practices including Agile methodologies and DevOps.

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week. Responsibilities For Vice President, Software Engineer

  • Develop formula software engine for CCAR Reporting needs
  • Host software design workshops with internal clients
  • Conduct analysis of Balance Sheet and P&L forecasting models
  • Map data into reporting models for Fed CCAR reporting
  • Use Agile Methodology for planning and performance measurement
  • Coordinate with team members across different locations
  • Work with Finance project managers to define milestones
  • Report progress to senior stakeholders

Requirements For Vice President, Software Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5 years of experience in software engineering or related role
  • Experience with OLAP multi-dimensional databases including Cognos TM1
  • TM1 technical skills including rules and TI coding
  • Python or Java programming experience
  • Experience with financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
  • Database design and SQL expertise
  • Experience with Junit and Behavioral Driven Development (BDD)
  • Experience with Git version control
  • Experience with Jenkins CI/CD
