Senior Solutions Engineer - Data Insights

Motive is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer - Data Insights to work closely with customers on generating custom reports, data extracts, and building custom data pipelines. The role involves collaborating with various internal teams to understand client data requirements, building customized reports through Tableau and other data needs via Python, Snowflake, Airflow, and Kibana. During customer trials, you'll guide potential customers to identify their key questions and analyze Motive's data lake to provide insights. You'll also capture and share best practices among internal stakeholders and participate in QA, code review, and process improvements.

Motive serves more than 120,000 customers across various industries, including transportation and logistics, construction, energy, field service, manufacturing, agriculture, food and beverage, retail, and the public sector. The company provides a unified platform that combines safety, operations, and finance management for drivers, vehicles, equipment, and fleet-related spend.

The ideal candidate should have:

• 4-6 years of engineering/consulting experience with databases and/or reporting
• 4+ years of experience in data analysis/data science
• Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
• Experience with data architecting/operating solutions built on enterprise SaaS or public cloud vendors like Snowflake, Airflow, Kibana, etc.
• Technical degree preferred; Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Math background desired
