Audio Software Engineer Co-Op (Fall 2025)

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Audio Software Engineer Co-Op to join their Global Audio Solutions team in Plantation, FL for Fall 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to work on mission-critical audio technologies that serve as a lifeline for firefighters, soldiers, and law enforcement officers.

The role involves working with cutting-edge audio technology, including extreme noise suppression, high dynamic range mics, mic array technologies, and advanced DSP audio algorithms. You'll be part of a team developing portable devices with Public Safety Mission-Critical Audio, where reliability is paramount - it must work, always!

As a Co-Op, you'll contribute to various aspects of audio software development, from data analysis and visualization to implementing machine learning techniques for audio processing. The ideal candidate should be pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, with a strong foundation in Python programming and DSP. Experience with audio laboratory work and machine learning is highly valued.
