Requirements For Analytics Engineer

Python
  • 5-7+ years writing performant, maintainable SQL and developing scalable data models
  • Proficiency with dbt, SQLMesh, and modern cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Experience with ingestion tools like Fivetran, Airbyte, or Meltano
  • Strong understanding of version control, code reviews, and testing best practices
  • Ability to communicate complex data concepts clearly
  • Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Omni, Tableau, or Hex
  • Documentation mindset
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Python (preferred)
  • Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow, Dagster, Prefect (preferred)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD workflows (preferred)
