Multiplica Talent is seeking a Backend Developer with proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing computer systems from scratch. The position is for a Chilean client in the Oil & Gas sector. Responsibilities For Backend Developer Node.js
- Design, develop and maintain REST APIs
- Implement and optimize robust, scalable, and secure backend systems
- Create relational models and efficient SQL queries (PostgreSQL)
- Develop backend services
- Integrate cloud services, preferably in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and handle messaging systems like PubSub
- Document APIs using Swagger and perform testing with tools like Postman
- Manage version control and workflows with Git
- Design and implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines (CI/CD)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure solution quality and scalability
- Participate in system architecture definition and design
Requirements For Backend Developer Node.js
- 3+ years of backend development experience with Node.js
- Proficiency in Javascript and TypeScript
- Experience designing systems from scratch
- Advanced knowledge in NestJS
- Experience in RESTful API design and relational database management (PostgreSQL)
- Experience with GCP or other cloud platforms, and messaging systems like PubSub (queue management)
- Familiarity with tools like Swagger, Postman
- Advanced understanding of CI/CD concepts
- Knowledge in relational model design and complex IT systems implementation
- Git proficiency
