Responsibilities For Backend Engineer - Platform Experience
- Work with team to collaborate and execute on product goals and technical roadmap
- Develop user-facing features in Elixir and Go backend services
- Build and scale billing and usage platform supporting all Mux products
- Work on identity and account management product features
- Work on distributed notifications such as application webhooks and alerting features
Requirements For Backend Engineer - Platform Experience
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in production distributed systems & backend engineering
- Strong engineering skills across multiple platforms and environments
- Solid engineering fundamentals (CS degree a plus)
- Track record of working on hard problems including job scheduling, concurrency, and scaling
- Experience with Elixir, Go, Python, Ruby, Node, or other general-purpose programming languages
- Experience deploying complex applications on cloud platforms using Kubernetes
- Video experience is a plus but not required
