As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll be instrumental in building scalable, efficient, and reliable backend services to support EveryWatch's growing platform. The role involves designing and implementing robust APIs, processing large volumes of watch-related data, and integrating with third-party services. You'll be responsible for ensuring high system performance and security while playing a key role in shaping the backend infrastructure.
The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of backend development experience with C# and .NET, along with expertise in building scalable APIs and distributed systems. Strong knowledge of database design, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms is essential. You'll lead technical discussions, mentor junior developers, and help establish best practices within the team.

Responsibilities For Senior Backend Engineer (C#)
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using C# and .NET Core
- Optimize backend processes and data pipelines to ensure performance and reliability for large datasets
- Integrate with external data sources, APIs, and services to aggregate watch market data
- Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure system integrity
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and stakeholders
- Lead technical discussions, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers
- Define and enforce backend coding standards, testing strategies, and deployment processes
- Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies and tools
Requirements For Senior Backend Engineer (C#)
- 10+ years of backend development experience with C# and .NET
- Proven experience building scalable APIs and distributed backend systems
- Strong understanding of database design, optimization, and working with relational and NoSQL databases
- Experience with asynchronous processing, micro-services, and event-driven architectures
