Backend Software Developer (.NET)

NAVBLUE, an Airbus company, is seeking a Backend Software Developer (.NET) to join their team in Gdansk. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in the aviation industry, developing solutions that enhance flight operations and air traffic management.

The position involves working with SaaS applications in a microservices-based environment, where you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining .NET applications using C# in an AWS cloud environment. You'll be part of a dynamic team that delivers solutions to over 500 customers worldwide, helping airlines manage safe and high-performance flight operations.

As a Backend Software Developer, you'll be deeply involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from coding and implementing features to contributing to test automation. The role requires at least 1 year of professional experience in software development, with specific expertise in .NET/C# and AWS. You'll be working with modern technologies and frameworks including ASP.NET Web API and Entity Framework.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related field, along with good English communication skills. Additional valuable skills include experience with Python, RESTful/SOAP API design, DevOps practices, and automated testing. Knowledge of airline operations or flight planning is a plus.
