Responsibilities For Senior Data Engineer
- Design, build and maintain scalable, efficient and stable data pipelines
- Develop and optimize service and data architectures, ensuring quality and governance
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Business teams to understand needs and translate into improvements for the Data Platform
- Ensure scalability, stability and observability of the data platform
- Participate in discussions and decisions about platform features, data architecture and team best practices
- Handle incidents to ensure quick return to normal operations and participate in post-mortems
Requirements For Senior Data Engineer
- Experience in infrastructure and architecture of Data Engineering tools
- Knowledge of scalability techniques, stability and platform observability best practices
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala or similar
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools, large-scale data processing and data lake architectures
- Familiarity with cloud environments (preferably AWS), infrastructure as code tools and container orchestration platform
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and cross-functional environment
- Communication skills and ability to translate user needs into technical requirements
