Analytics Engineer (L5) - Finance

Netflix is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join their Finance Data Science and Engineering team within the centralized Data and Insights organization. This role will support the office of the Chief Financial Officer, focusing on enabling business partners to access key financial data efficiently and provide insights to drive revenue growth and expense optimization. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional partners, conduct statistical analyses, develop scalable data pipelines, and deliver data insights through tools, memos, and presentations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with Finance leads to identify strategic, high-impact analytical problems
• Conducting statistical analyses, modeling, and exploratory analysis
• Delivering data insights through dashboards, self-serve reporting, memos, and presentations
• Developing scalable data pipelines for data collection, cleaning, and analysis
• Facilitating data ownership and accountability across teams

The successful candidate will have:

• Strong partnership and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strategic mindset with the ability to incorporate business context into data questions
• Background in statistics, math, or data science
• High proficiency in statistical programming (Python preferred) and SQL
• Experience in developing data tools and delivering insights to stakeholders
• Self-starter mentality and ability to thrive in ambiguous environments
