Netflix is seeking a Distributed Systems Engineer (L4) to join their Data Platform team, offering a competitive salary range of $170,000 - $720,000. This role is fully remote within the USA and focuses on building and evolving Netflix's world-class data infrastructure. The position involves working across various data platform teams including Gen AI Platform, Online Data Stores, Data Movement Platform, Data Discovery and Governance, and Analytics Infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in distributed systems and strong expertise in Java programming. You'll be working on critical infrastructure that powers Netflix's data-driven decision making across their entertainment empire, serving 283 million paid memberships in over 190 countries.

Key responsibilities include architecting scalable distributed systems, contributing to open source projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
