Research Engineer L4/L5 -LLMs for Search, Recommendations, and Personalization

Netflix is seeking an exceptional applied research engineer to develop technology for future search and recommendations experiences using the latest advances in Large Language Models (LLMs). The role involves conceptualizing, designing, and implementing engineering improvements related to LLMs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Aiding applied research and product development
• Developing technology for search and recommendations using LLMs
• Collaborating with scientists and cross-functional teams

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Expertise in training and serving infrastructure for LLMs and large foundation models
• Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of statistical methods
• Proficiency in Python and Java
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field

• Technical leadership
