Description For Senior Engineering Manager, Data Infra, Machine Learning Platform

Netflix is seeking a seasoned engineering leader to lead the Data Infrastructure pillar within the Machine Learning Platform (MLP) org. This role involves setting up an overall data strategy for all ML use cases at Netflix, building roadmaps for high-leverage opportunities, and leading teams in execution that generates significant business impact. The role spans building scalable infrastructure for ML practitioners, developing data-related frameworks for various ML models, and advancing frameworks for feature engineering and data transformations. This highly visible position requires strong partnerships with senior engineering and data science leaders, and experience in leading successful ML infrastructure or platform teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ML modeling teams' needs and be a strong advocate for ensuring internal customers have a world-class user experience on the ML Platform. Key expectations include vision, partnership & culture alignment, sound judgment, technical acumen, and strong recruiting skills.
