Description For Software Engineer (E5) - Components for Partners (COPA)

Netflix is seeking a senior full-stack engineer to join the Partner Experiences team, specifically the Enablement Apps group within the COPA (COre Partner Applications) team. The role involves building and supporting platforms used by multiple Netflix teams to deliver applications worldwide. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional initiatives, drive projects from requirements to deployment, and play a key role in developing the overall architecture spanning 60+ applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build common components for rapid portfolio growth
  • Develop platforms using Netflix cloud-based tech stack (Java, Node, React, SQL, NoSQL)
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and drive projects end-to-end
  • Contribute to the architecture of 60+ applications and services
  • Support integration, certification, and monitoring for Netflix integrations across 500+ partners and 1800+ device types

Ideal Candidate:

  • Passionate about solving business needs through innovative and pragmatic platform building
  • Strong skills in system design, architecture, and software evolution
  • Expertise in JavaScript (React/Node) and familiarity with Java
  • Experience building scalable platforms
  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 7+ years of relevant industry experience
