This role is crucial in building the backbone of Netflix's content creation ecosystem, from initial planning to final distribution. The role sits within the Content & Business Products Engineering teams, focusing on building products and services that optimize and automate content creation processes. You'll be working on various aspects including content planning, financing, production, promotion, and distribution. The team supports critical enterprise functions such as Finance, Talent, Tech Support, and Customer Support.

The position requires strong technical expertise in building resilient, high-scale microservices and proficiency in modern technologies like gRPC, GraphQL, or RESTful APIs. You'll need solid experience with Java, C#, or similar OO languages, along with a deep understanding of OO design principles, concurrency, and performance tuning.

Netflix offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $170,000 to $720,000, with the flexibility to choose between salary and stock options.   • Experience crafting resilient, high-scale, low-latency microservices in production environments
  • Proficient with gRPC, GraphQL, or RESTful API design and implementation
  • Proficient experience with Java, C#, or other OO programming languages
  • Solid understanding of OO design principles, concurrency, multi-threading, performance tuning, and observability
  • Proven track record of resilient data modeling
  • Ability to participate in on-call rotation and lead incident reviews
