Software Engineer (L6) - Cloud Infra Abstractions

Netflix is seeking a Principal Software Engineer (L6) for their Cloud Infrastructure Abstractions team. This role offers an opportunity to work at one of the world's leading entertainment services, managing one of the largest Cloud footprints. The position focuses on building and maintaining Compute, Network, and Storage services that serve as foundational building blocks for Netflix's global entertainment platform.

The role spans two potential teams: Compute Abstractions, which focuses on simplifying cloud compute resource management and scaling through their Titus platform, and Network Services & Insights, which builds cross-functional networking abstractions and maintains high-scale distributed systems for network metadata management.

As a technical lead, you'll drive charter development, guide engineering work, and tackle complex technical challenges hands-on. The role involves creating products that simplify cloud infrastructure management for thousands of engineers, implementing standardized guardrails, and improving configuration safety across Netflix's engineering organization.

The position offers a competitive compensation range of $360,000 - $920,000, with flexibility to choose between salary and stock options.
