Software Engineer L6, IDEs and Workspaces - Dev Spaces

Netflix is seeking a Software Engineer L6 for the Dev Spaces team, focusing on IDEs and Workspaces. This role is crucial in improving the productivity of the Inner development loop for thousands of Netflix engineers worldwide. The ideal candidate will drive technical and product initiatives for IDEs (VS Code and JetBrains), IDE integrations with the Netflix stack, and web UIs for the team's offerings.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and shipping useful defaults to enhance efficiency and quality across engineering
• Driving integrations between VS Code, JetBrains IDEs, and Dev Workspaces
• Building tooling for IDE plugin development and distribution
• Leading web-based UI development for Dev Workspaces and IDE management tools
• Providing expertise in JavaScript or Java
• Mentoring colleagues at various experience levels
