Software Engineer L6 - Media Infrastructure Compute Platform

Netflix is seeking a Principal Software Engineer (L6) to join their Media Infrastructure Platform team (MIP), which provides foundational infrastructure services across Netflix's engineering organization. This role focuses on Stratum, a large-scale serverless function platform for media-specific computational tasks, which is critical to Netflix's media processing operations.

The position offers an opportunity to work on one of Netflix's largest compute clusters, handling diverse workloads from quick processes to week-long operations. You'll be part of the team developing Stratum, MezzFS, and Nirvana, key components that process every video in Netflix's vast catalog. The compensation is highly competitive, ranging from $230,000 to $960,000 annually, with flexibility to choose between salary and stock options.
