Netflix is seeking a Security Engineer (L4) to join their Application and Infrastructure Security (AIS) team within the Security Engineering organization. The role focuses on enhancing Netflix's security posture while maintaining business agility and scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with platform teams to address security needs
- Work across teams with various stakeholders including security engineers, software engineers, and product managers
- Apply engineering skills and security knowledge to system architecture and risk management
- Conduct security assessments and drive remediation efforts
- Design and implement security solutions for mixed-deployment environments
Required Skills:
- Experience with engineering-focused infrastructure and platform security
- Proven ability to identify and solve security problems
- Strong communication skills
- Experience securing cloud platforms, networks, and infrastructure
- Knowledge of container/orchestration security and authentication/authorization
- Self-motivated with ability to prioritize work effectively
- Experience in securing mixed-deployment environments (self-hosted, cloud-hosted, SaaS)
