Infrastructure Engineer

The Infrastructure Team plays a vital role in enabling Neuralink's mission to restore movement to the paralyzed and sight to the blind. Working with a diverse tech stack including Rust, Python, Kubernetes, and AWS, you'll be responsible for developing robust systems that support both technical and non-technical team members across the organization.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $124,000 to $180,000 USD, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, equity, 401(k), and flexible time off. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you'll work on critical projects spanning from deployment of physical hardware on the manufacturing line to custom tooling for streaming neural recordings from implants.

Key responsibilities include enhancing developer experience through robust tooling, building foundational infrastructure for hardware-in-the-loop testing, and architecting both on-premise and cloud solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, compiled languages (particularly Rust), and deep knowledge of cryptographic protocols and modern Linux systems.
