Responsibilities For Embedded Software Engineer (Secret Clearance Required)

  • Design, develop, document, test, and debug applications software and systems
  • Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers and hardware engineers
  • Determine system and user needs, analyze system capabilities
  • Prepare operating instructions
  • Design and develop compilers, assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems
  • Ensure software standards are met

Requirements For Embedded Software Engineer (Secret Clearance Required)

Linux
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related STEM degree with 2+ years of experience
  • Experience with Object-Oriented software design and C++ programming
  • Experience executing in an RTOS environment (VxWorks, FreeRTOS, RT-Linux, GH Integrity)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced lab environment
  • Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
  • 10% travel required
