Sentinel Principal / Sr Principal Software Engineer : Metrics Data Engineer

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal/Sr Principal Software Engineer to join their DevStar Data Integration and Analytics (DIA) team for the Sentinel program. This role combines software engineering expertise with data analytics, requiring the development and maintenance of a Python-based platform that interfaces with various tools and systems for data collection and visualization.

The position offers a unique opportunity to work on critical defense and space systems, utilizing PostgreSQL RDBMS and custom data management patterns to ensure high availability and clean data relationships. The role involves direct collaboration with segment leads and the Chief Engineering Office to implement business processes and quality standards across the program.

As a team member, you'll be responsible for developing metrics capabilities, maintaining data pipelines, and delivering critical reports to support both business and customer needs. The position requires an active Secret clearance and offers a flexible 9/80 work schedule, allowing for every other Friday off.
