Responsibilities For DevOps Engineer
- Support development and deployment of infrastructure in AWS
- Automate deployment processes and ensure reliability and scalability of services
- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate their applications into the infrastructure
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems
- Continuously improve processes and tools to ensure high availability and performance
- Stay current with new technologies and industry trends
Requirements For DevOps Engineer
- Must have TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship
- 9+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering with Bachelors or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Strong knowledge of Linux system administration
- Proficient in configuration management tools (Ansible or Puppet)
- Knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda)
- Strong working knowledge of PostgreSQL databases
- Experience with application and OS deployment
- Programming skills in bash, Python, or Go
- Familiarity with Git and deployment pipelines
- Must work on customer site in Ft. Belvoir, VA 5 days/week
